Summary of the Interim FM Project Lead role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Interim FM Project Lead to take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of facilities, infrastructure and capital projects within a complex, live operational environment. The role will manage multiple projects through the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction and commissioning to completion and operational handover.
Projects will range from minor works of approximately £100k through to major capital projects of up to £10m, requiring strong control of programme, cost, scope, quality and risk. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
This is a senior, hands-on interim project delivery role requiring an individual who can quickly establish themselves within the existing environment, take ownership of multiple workstreams and maintain momentum across project delivery. The role has a strong focus on procurement and contract management, commissioning, operational readiness and effective handover into Facilities Management operations, alongside strategic asset planning, business case development, sustainability and robust project governance.
Interim FM Project Lead Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple facilities, infrastructure and capital projects from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, completion and operational handover.
Manage project programmes, milestones and critical paths, providing clear reporting on progress, performance, risks and dependencies.
Establish and maintain robust project controls covering programme, cost, scope, quality and change, taking corrective action where required.
