Job Description

Vehicle Technician

Location: Reading

Salary: Up to £42,000 Basic Doe + Monthly Bonus (Uncapped)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am - 1:00pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing prestige vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards while delivering outstanding quality and first-time fixes.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs

·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

·Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work

·Performing road tests where required

·Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records

·Working closely with the Service Team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction

·Keeping up to date with the latest vehicle technology and manufacturer training

·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards

About You

We're looking for someone with:

·NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

·Previous experience within a franchised dealership or prestige workshop

·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
