Role
You will be involved in the delivery of domestic and/or non-domestic performing the role of a Building Physics Engineer and/or Passivhaus consultant. You will have excellent knowledge on the key factors that impact on building performance including fabric design, thermal bridging, ventilation, air tightness, overheating, heating and hot water solutions. You should also have a good understanding of Climate Change / Net Zero guidance by organisations such as LETI and UKGBC and how to apply the guidance to building performance.
Qualifications / Experience
Experience of using IES VE software
Proficiency in using energy modelling software and simulation tools
Knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards related to energy performance
Experience of delivering domestic and/or non-domestic projects
Familarity with sustainable design and m&e building services design
CIBSE TM52, TM54, TM59
Climate based daylight modelling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and optimise building performance
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients and stakeholders
