About the job Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

Experience with analysis and design
Proficiency with engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA & TEDDS
Ability to produce hand calculations
Deliver design work, construction site support and inspections
Prepare technical reports, scopes of work, material specifications, CDM activities & inter‑discipline design coordination
Assisting team members to promote their technical and professional development

Qualifications & Skills

(BEng or MEng) degree, qualified structural engineer
All‑round technical design expertise – British / international standards, and/or Eurocodes
Seismic knowledge, dynamic and extreme environmental loading is highly beneficial
Ability to prepare bids and proposals
BIM packages knowledge
Design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork experience
