Ready to make a tangible impact at scale?We're looking for an Adoption Software Engineer to join a high-performing team working on a global-scale technology platform handling 24,000+ transactions per second. In this role, you’ll drive the adoption of modern software practices, with a sharp focus on policy enforcement, access control models, and cloud-native deployment strategies.This is your chance to influence one of the most widely used platforms in the financial services sector — helping to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for millions of users worldwide.Your Day-to-DayLead the adoption of advanced authorisation frameworks using policy-as-code (e.g. Styra OPA, OPAL)Work across the full stack – UI, backend, and data layers – in low-latency, high-throughput environmentsGuide containerisation efforts using OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar platformsSupport and optimise deployment across AWS (preferred), Azure, and hybrid/on-premise setupsShape best practices in RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC implementation across engineering teamsUse SQL and data insights to guide technical decisionsCollaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption of secure, scalable technologiesMust-Have SkillsForgeRock or Ping Identity experience – essential for integrating with enterprise-level authentication systemsStrong engineering background in Java, with experience supporting large-scale, production-grade systemsDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure – especially AWSExperience with policy-as-code tools and authorisation frameworksProven track record in container orchestration and deployment automationAbility to take systems from development through to live supportNice to HaveStrong SQL and data analysis skills to support engineering designFamiliarity with hybrid cloud/on-prem models and performance tuningBroad understanding of security and authentication protocolsWhy Apply?This is a high-impact, engineering-led opportunity where you’ll help shape the future of authorisation strategy for a mission-critical platform.
