Head Chef | Garvagh | £34,000 + great benefits | Full-time, 42.5 hours per week
Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy, high-volume food operation.
The Role
You'll lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing high-quality fresh food while maintaining excellent standards across food safety, quality and service.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare fresh food to a consistently high standard
Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
Allocate tasks and manage the kitchen operation
Manage stock, costs and waste
Ensure food safety, health & safety and trading standards are met
Support sales, profitability and commercial targets
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen
Relevant Catering and Food Safety qualifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience working to targets, budgets or KPIs
A passion for fresh, quality food
The ability to work at pace while maintaining high standardsWorking hours: Monday-Sunday, between 6am-6pm, with flexibility required. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
