AWS Solution Architect Senior Manager London | £100,000£125,000
Were working with a leading global technology and professional services organisation looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join their Cloud practice at Senior Manager level.
This is a senior client-facing role focused on helping organisations turn their cloud strategy into reality from legacy modernisation and data centre exits through to cloud-native transformation, data and AI solutions.
Youll work with senior stakeholders and technical teams to define cloud strategies, shape enterprise architectures and lead complex transformation programmes using the latest AWS technologies.
What youll be doing Define AWS cloud strategy, governance and enterprise architecture standards.
Design secure, scalable and resilient cloud solutions aligned to complex business requirements.
Lead large-scale cloud transformation programmes, including data centre exits and legacy modernisation.
Drive innovation across cloud, data, AI, security and multi-cloud environments.
Translate business objectives into practical and scalable AWS architectures.
Design modern application workloads using serverless, containers and microservices.
Shape integration solutions using APIs, event-driven architectures and hybrid connectivity.
Ensure solutions meet requirements around security, resilience, performance, observability and disaster recovery.
Advise on cloud cost optimisation, governance and compliance.
Engage with senior stakeholders, including executive boards and governance forums.
Mentor Managers and Consultants, helping develop technical capability across the wider team.
What were looking for Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.
Strong experience operating at Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture level.
AWS certification at Associate or Professional level, ideally AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
Strong understanding of cloud security, including IAM, encryption, compliance and governance.
Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant and scalable cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, APIs, integration and modern application architecture.
Experience with data platforms, analytics and AI/ML solutions in the cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management and optimisation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting complex architecture to senior and executive audiences.
Experience leading technical teams, mentoring others and contributing to large-scale transformation programmes.
Azure or Google Cloud experience would be advantageous.
Security Clearance BPSS and SC clearance is required for this position.
Applicants will need 5 years of continuous UK address history at the point of application to meet the security clearance requirements.
