Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Based in the area of Dewsbury, the working hours for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role are Monday to Friday only. The hours of work are 7am-4pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role offers a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus a company pension matched to 10% and generous holiday allowance, plus a 5% yearly KPI bonus.

Duties of Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Assisting with maintenance plans, driving PPMs and performing reactive maintenance
• Undertaking improvement projects as part of the maintenance team
• Responsible for identifying and eliminating recurring plant issues through engineering improvements

Experience and Qualifications Required for Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Engineering qualifications: Full Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 and ONC, BTEC Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Strong Health and Safety awareness
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Lead Engineer etc.
• Previous experience undertaking maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of the development and application of PPM activities and knowledge of reactive maintenance techniques
