Engineering Manager An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a successful and innovative manufacturing business in East Yorkshire, leading a multi-disciplinary team across Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering.
The Role
Lead, develop and drive performance across the Engineering team
Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of engineering drawings, models and BOMs
Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and right-first-time performance
Improve products and manufacturing processes through DFMA and engineering change
Monitor KPIs across cost, quality, delivery and efficiency
Support technical quotations and new customer requirements
Maintain strong quality and compliance standards, including CE marking
What We’re Looking For
Strong engineering background and relevant qualification
Proven Engineering Management and people leadership experience
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Knowledge of drawings, BOMs and product/manufacturing processes
Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills
A collaborative, hands‑on leader who can drive accountability, improvement and results
