Description
Preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
Assisting in the annual budget process and conducting regular budget reviews
Providing financial advice to non-finance staff across the organisation
Ensuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Analysing financial performance and making longer-term forecasts
Participating in internal and external audits
Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
Actively studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or QBE
Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector is essential
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
Job Offer
A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £41,000 per annum
4 days in the office per week
