Looking for an interesting role with a growing company? This hands-on role combines production planning, maintenance, electrical and control systems, SCADA, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams to maximise plant availability, optimise production and maintain the highest safety standards.Hours of work are Monday to Friday with start times of around 07:30 - 16:00 with some flexibility. Overtime available with an on call rota possibly in the future.Benefits and Perks36 days annual leave (incl of public hols)Employer pension contribution of 5%, increasing up to 10%Private medical insurance, including dental, optical and mental health cover.Cycle to Work scheme and season ticket loan.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan hydrogen production in line with customer demandSupport planned and reactive maintenanceMaintain plant records, inspections and maintenance historyAnalyse plant performanceCoordinate hydrogen logisticsConfigure, maintain and troubleshoot PLCsSupport the site's operational technology (OT) infrastructureProduce and maintain RAMS, permits to work, isolation certificates and operational proceduresSupport compliance with Electrical Safety Rules, DSEAR, ATEX (BS EN 60079) and Functional Safety (BS EN 61511)Investigate incidents, implement corrective actionsEnsure hydrogen product quality meets specificationAssist with procurement of maintenance materialsSupport commissioning, inspections and maintenance activitiesQualificationsHNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls or Process EngineeringElectrical qualification with experience working on industrial electrical systems (up to 11kV desirable)Appointed Person/Senior Appointed Person status, or willingness to work towardsATEX and Functional Safety qualifications are advantageousEssential ExperienceEC&I within a process or industrial plant environmentPractical knowledge of PLC and SCADA systemsStrong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExperience producing RAMS, permits and technical documentationKnowledge of industrial electrical safety practicesDesirable ExperienceHydrogen production, gas processing or high-pressure process plantWorking on electrical systems up to 11kVKnowledge of DSEAR, ATEX, BS EN 61511 and ISO 14687Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
