Recruitment Officer
Norwich
We are seeking an Recruitment Officer to join our Norwich based client. This role is initially on a temporary basis however could go permanent for the right candidate.
The role offers hybrid working and is in the city.
To undertake and oversee recruitment duties in a confident and professional manner. Main responsibilities include.
candidate engagement
interview set up
pre-employment screening and
progressing of applicants through the recruitment process
Managing relationships with Hiring Managers across all our services.
To oversee the recruitment process from selection through to onboarding, managing applications, interviews and driving a robust recruitment process.
Be the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries internal and external
Proactive lead in considering best value and most effective routes for recruitment – considering different roles, different geographical locations when recruiting.
Managing the various job boards and applications
Manage the generic recruitment email inbox, ensuring all enquires are dealt with in a timely manner, forwarding on requests as necessary
Place adverts internally and externally using Company website, and other external sites as well
as any social media sites
Carry out research when requested from time to time on salary benchmarking to ensure our rates remain competitive
Responding and communicating with candidate expression of interests
Sending recruitment packs to candidates
Invite candidates to interview, creating a positive candidate experience ensuring that they have all the required information in preparation for their interview.
Arrange for interview packs to be sent ensuring the hiring manager has all relevant application forms, interview notes, job descriptions, short lists
Collate all the paperwork for the successful candidate, chase up any outstanding information and follow up Reference requests
Ensure the recruitment database is kept up to date at all times and that vacancies are tracked
Keep Hiring Managers updated with applications for onboarding process
Assess employees right to work, apply for references and DBS certification where required,
Overseeing Apprenticeship applications and processes
Administration processes supporting unsuccessful candidates
Undertake additional specific tasks as required.
Liaising regularly with recruiting managers: designing, creating and implementing robust recruitment practices and processes.
