Healds Hall, a 250-year-old former mansion set within Spenborough Valley, and family owned for 40 years. Due to our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team within our 24-bedroom Hotel and Restaurant.

About the Role ofSous Chef
We are looking for an exceptional chef to join us at this exciting time. Working with fresh ingredients and local produce, delivered to a high standard. Experience working in a quality restaurant is essential. You will have a passion for produce and standards.
The applicant must be an organised individual with excellent attention to detail with food produced to a consistent standard and specification.
You will need to be capable of working in a demanding environment within part of a close-knit team to ensure daily targets are met all whilst ensuring that kitchen is cleaned to a high standard and all health and safety, and compliance is adhered to.
Sous Chef Requirements:
Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to food handling.
Menu development.
