Job Description

The role Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and proactive Site Manager. The successful candidate will have experience of managing a large site and will be excited by the prospect of leading a team while upholding the highest standards of site safety and improvements. The academy takes great pride in how its building looks and feels for students and staff and seeks someone who shares these high expectations and possesses an eye for detail. The postholder will look beyond daily maintenance and bring forward ideas for further development of the site.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage premises, facilities and maintenance services across a large and complex environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through effective risk assessments and site management.
  • Lead, motivate and coordinate teams, contractors and external providers.
  • Apply excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing premises, facilities or maintenance services within a large or complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments and site compliance.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams, contractors and external providers.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
