Events Coordinator

Leeds

Our client is an established organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds, and they are looking for an Events Coordinator to join their close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Events Planner or Events Manager to join a lovely organisation.

The successful candidate must have experience in planning and managing events for large numbers of people.

The role will be varied but duties will include:

Planning and assisting with the delivery of events from concept to execution.

Managing ticket sales by dealing with telephone and online bookings, inputting sales in the database, raising invoices and processing payments and dispatching tickets.

Gathering quotes from event suppliers e.g venues, printers, florists, etc.

Overseeing event guest information; keeping the central database up to date.

Creating financial documents including invoices, credit notes and request for payment.

Assisting at off-site events.

Managing the development and delivery of events-related marketing and social media campaigns (e.g. mail shots, posting updates)

Creating PowerPoint slides for use at events.

Mail merge administrative duties and general admin support.

Volunteer recruitment, coordination and training for large events.

Pre event and post event prize coordination - liaising with winning bidders/ chasing payment.

Managing post event thank you/recognitions.

About you:

A strong work ethic with a passion for helping others.

Experience in the events industry.

Drive, ambition, and a strong sense of initiative.

A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Power Point)

Reliable and organised.

Able to multi-task and achieve key deadlines.

This is a full time, permanent position and will be fully office based.

The role pays £25,000 - £35,000pa and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Events Planner to join a lovely team.
