Support Worker

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our agency team, supporting children and young people with autism across residential and supported living homes in Liverpool and the Wirral .

The Role As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people with autism and associated needs. Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting children with their day-to-day care and routines

Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing

Providing emotional and practical support

Supporting communication and social development

Assisting with personal care where required

Supporting children to access activities and the wider community

Following individual care plans and risk assessments

Maintaining a safe, positive and nurturing environment

Working effectively as part of a wider care team

Maintaining accurate and professional records

Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must :

Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and/or young people with autism or complex needs

Have full rights to work full-time in the UK

Hold a DBS registered on the Update Service , or be willing to obtain a new DBS check

Have a caring, patient and professional approach

Be reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team

Have the flexibility to work across homes in Liverpool and the Wirral
