You’ll have the chance to shape and assure security architecture for critical systems, working alongside experienced engineering, architecture and testing teams.The roleAs a Security Architect, you will develop and assure security architecture for solutions hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You’ll translate security requirements into practical designs, controls and implementation guidance, ensuring security is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.Key responsibilitiesAssess cloud and network designs to identify security risks, control gaps and improvement opportunitiesDefine security architecture patterns and technical controls suitable for a high-assurance environmentDevelop IAM approaches including RBAC and privileged access designEmbed security into delivery processes, governance and technical decision-makingLead, define, or assure security testing activities where requiredReview security findings, advise on remediation, and support risk treatment decisionsProduce clear architecture documentation and engage effectively with stakeholdersEssential skills & experienceSenior cloud security architecture experience (aligned to SFIA Level 5/6 or equivalent)Strong network security architecture knowledgeDeep IAM capability (RBAC, privileged access)Experience designing/assuring controls in complex, security-sensitive environmentsAbility to define, lead or assure security testing activitiesStrong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirableHands-on OCI security/architecture experienceKnowledge of UK government Secure by Design principles and processesBackground in government, defence, national security or similarly regulated environmentsRelevant cloud/cyber security architecture certificationsKey skillsSecurity ArchitectCloud SecurityOracle Cloud InfrastructureOCINetwork SecurityIAMRBACPrivileged AccessSecurity TestingSecure by DesigneDVSFIA Level 5SFIA Level 6NSDI
