Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Waterloo, London – Up to £52,000 per annum

CBW is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM service provider at a prominent mixed-use development in Waterloo. The estate combines commercial offices, residential accommodation and retail space across several modern buildings, creating a varied and technically engaging environment. This is a 50/50 hands-on and supervisory position, managing a team of three engineers while supporting planned and reactive maintenance across the site. The successful candidate can come from either an electrical or mechanical background and will also oversee compliance, subcontractors, quotations and additional works, ensuring the estate is maintained safely and to a consistently high standard.

What You'll Be Doing
Supervising a small on-site team of engineers, ensuring high standards of service delivery and technical performance.
Acting as the primary client-facing contact for all day-to-day electrical, technical, and operational matters.
Managing the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring all electrical works are completed within contractual timeframes.
Coordinating and managing specialist subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site procedures and statutory requirements.
Monitoring site compliance and ensuring all electrical compliance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Managing subcontractor attendance, reviewing reports, and ensuring all remedial works are tracked through to completion.
Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site's electrical infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
Identifying, scoping, and developing additional works opportunities in line with client requirements.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the client, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure exceptional service delivery.Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pmWhat We're Looking For
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Previous supervisory or lead engineering experience within commercial Facilities Management.
Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance and statutory compliance.
Experience managing engineers, subcontractors, quotations and remedial works.
Strong client-facing, organisational and leadership skills
