Project Manager - IT

Our client is a growing organisation in the gaming and fundraising sector, delivering products that generate significant income for charitable causes. They are investing in a major transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical platform migration project.

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid, minimum 3 days in the office)

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-profile business transformation project, overseeing the evaluation, selection, implementation, and migration to a new lottery platform.

The successful candidate will manage the project from initial assessment through to go-live, working closely with suppliers, senior stakeholders, and internal teams. Following completion of the platform migration, you will take ownership of a range of business improvement and change projects across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• * Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major platform migration project.
• * Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and governance.
• * Evaluate platform options, including third-party solutions and in-house development.
• * Oversee customer journey design, system integrations, testing, and data migration.
• * Manage supplier relationships, deliverables, and performance.
• * Facilitate stakeholder engagement across multiple departments.
• * Produce project documentation, status reports, and RAID logs.
• * Lead additional business change and improvement projects following project completion.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• * Proven experience delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
• * Background in technology, software, platform, or digital transformation projects.
• * Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.
• * Excellent planning, organisational, and communication abilities.
• * Experience managing budgets, risks, and multiple workstreams.

Desirable

• * Platform migration or systems implementation experience.
• * Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data migration.
• * Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• * PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP, Scrum, or similar qualification.
