Job Description

Admin Assistant – Permanent | Middlesbrough

Salary £28,000 DOE

DMW Recruitment are recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join a growing valve services company based in Middlesbrough.

This is a varied role supporting the office, workshop and customer operations. Previous office administration experience is essential, but extensive experience isn't required. Full training will be provided.

The Role:

Monitoring and responding to emails

*

Customer and supplier communication

*

Updating customers on orders and deliveries

*

Raising and monitoring purchase orders

*

Chasing suppliers for prices and delivery dates

*

Checking goods received

*

Invoicing customers

*

Updating spreadsheets and maintaining records

*

Preparing letters, reports and job paperwork

*

Booking equipment into the workshop

*

Preparing paperwork for engineers and customer sites

*

Arranging couriers, deliveries and collections

*

Assisting with engineer travel and accommodation

*

Preparing site packs and outage documentation

*

Booking training and maintaining training records

*

General office and management administration

About You:

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident using computers, with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

You'll need good attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You'll be comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers by phone and email and able to work independently while being part of a small team.

QuickBooks experience would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.

You don't need years of experience – we're more interested in someone with the right attitude, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop.
