Salary: £39,000 - £43,000

Contract: Permanent | Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Manager to lead the management, development and security of our technical infrastructure across all Access Education Group brands.

This is a key role within our senior IT team, with an exciting initial focus on the setup and integration of a new Nottingham campus, alongside responsibility for maintaining and improving infrastructure across multiple sites nationwide.

You’ll lead on network infrastructure, connectivity, telecoms and technical systems, while supporting our IT technicians and driving high standards of service, resilience and cyber security.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Managing and developing multi-site Ubiquiti/UniFi networks, including VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi and network security.
• Leading infrastructure upgrades, new site deployments and capital projects.
• Providing Level 3 technical support and mentoring IT technicians.
• Managing telecoms, cloud telephony, mobile connectivity and resilient internet solutions.
• Supporting CCTV, access control and associated building infrastructure.
• Working with the Information Security Manager to strengthen cyber security and resilience.
• Managing incidents, changes, assets and service levels in line with ITIL principles.
• Developing infrastructure standards, technology roadmaps and continuous improvement plans.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a confident infrastructure professional with strong experience of multi-site networking and technical infrastructure. You’ll ideally have experience with:

• Ubiquiti/UniFi
• VLANs, VPNs and network segmentation
• High-density Wi-Fi
• Firewalls and network security
• Cloud telephony, Google Voice and/or Teams Phone
• Cyber security and disaster recovery
• ITIL and service management
• Leading or developing technical teams

Experience within an education environment would be advantageous.
