Job Description

Senior Snowflake Data Engineer | £750/day | London

Our leading global trading firm are looking for a hands-on Snowflake Data Engineer to build enterprise data products across trading, risk and finance.

The following skills / experience is essential:

Strong hands-on/commercial coding experience in Python

Solid experience with Snowflake (data modelling, performance tuning, pipeline integration)

Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services

Strong experience with SQL

Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines

Experience within finance — trading, investment banking, asset management or similar

Strong communication skills, comfortable working closely with traders, quants and other stakeholders

Ideal for engineers who enjoy designing data models, building robust pipelines, and working closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment.

Rate: Up to £750/day

Duration: 12 months +

Location: London (good work from home options available)
