Job Description

Quality Engineering Manager - £80,000 - Hybrid (London 2-3 days per week)

  • Compensation: 26% pension + private medical insurance

Please note: This role requires candidates to be able to commute into the office 2-3 days per week in London and does not offer sponsorship. Candidates must have the full right to work in the UK.

La Fosse has partnered with a financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Manager into an established team.

This role will be responsible for defining and overseeing the overall testing strategy across a complex lending platform, with a strong focus on customer journeys and business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a strong stakeholder manager, capable of building relationships across both business and technology functions, driving quality standards, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the testing cycle.

Key requirements:

  • Experience leading testing across complex, customer-facing platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build relationships and gain business buy-in.
  • Experience owning end-to-end testing across full delivery lifecycles.
  • Understanding of customer journeys, ideally within lending or financial services.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
  • Ability to coordinate testing across business, technology, and third-party teams.
  • Strong test governance, planning, and defect management experience.
  • Experience working alongside outsourced automation testing providers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills within complex delivery environments.
