We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our growing business, which prides itself on high standards and exceptional service. Day-to-day of the role: Develop new and existing opportunities with distributors and end-users.
Network at industry events to promote our products and services.
Present, demonstrate, and sell Mirka systems effectively.
Create and present customer business plans, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Accurately forecast sales and product demands.
Complete all administrative requirements efficiently, including journey planning to maximise customer visits.
Ensure the SAP system is kept up to date with relevant data.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with colleagues and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Over 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Proven experience within a key account or business development role.
Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships.
Self-motivated, target-driven, with a positive attitude.
Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Resilience and the ability to manage objections.
High degree of self-motivation and drive.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Valid driving licence with the ability to drive safely and legally.
