Job Description

C++ Software Engineer - London - Electronic Trading Systems Development.Miller Maxwell is working with an international financial services organisation that seeks to expand its low-latency software engineering team. The business is enhancing its competitive edge in the European market by enhancing their cutting-edge technology to electronic trading, including a new options trading platform within the derivatives space.

Role: C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders and front-office users.
  • Work on the clients core internal real-time trading platforms and software applications.
  • Assist in prioritizing and effectively managing the delivery of IT software development projects.
  • Work closely with the technology teams to ensure that client development requests are addressed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements for the C++ Software Engineer

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering within a commercial environment.
  • Proven financial services experience ideally within electronic trading sector.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C++
  • Proficiency with STL, and multithreading.
  • Experience in low-latency environments.
