Conveyancing Assistant – Leeds

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm at its Central Leeds office. About the Role

Working closely with a Senior Fee Earner, you will provide hands-on support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters. This position is well-suited to someone with at least six months of experience in a similar role who is ready to take on greater responsibility and continue developing their expertise within a forward-thinking firm.

Key Requirements

A minimum of six months’ experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Support role

Familiarity with residential property transactions, including sales and purchases

Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail

Please note applications without relevant conveyancing experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Opening new client files and maintaining accurate data within the case management system

Drafting standard legal documents and preparing client correspondence

Assisting with issuing contracts and responding to enquiries

Ordering property searches and supporting matters through to exchange

Preparing files for completion, including issuing mortgage reports and final documentation

Ensuring all case files are consistently updated in line with internal procedures
