A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Teaching Assistant position will be full time and temporary in the first instance.

Working hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £106.87 and £124.87 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Mixed Academy School & Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

It was established in 2014.

A heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities.

Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.

In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
Experience of working with children/teenagers/young people or as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
