Warehouse Operations Administrator

Nether Heyford

£15.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

9AM-5PM , any 5/6

You'll work 5 shifts each week between Sunday and Friday, with Saturdays off.

Temporary ongoing with potential to be made permanent after 12 successful weeks

We're looking for a motivated and organised Warehouse Operations Administrator to join our busy logistics team. You'll be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the warehouse by coordinating workflow, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Coordinate daily warehouse activities by assigning work across teams.
Keep track of customer orders to ensure they're completed and dispatched on time.
Highlight and report any issues affecting productivity, stock availability or order fulfilment.
Maintain accurate warehouse records and update operational systems.
Assist with inventory accuracy by supporting stock checks, audits and discrepancy investigations.
Record and monitor temporary workforce attendance and provide administrative support for staffing requirements.
Produce daily and weekly operational reports using Excel or Google Sheets.
Update information within warehouse management and business systems with a high level of accuracy.
Liaise with warehouse colleagues and management to ensure priorities are communicated effectively.
Help maintain compliance with company procedures relating to health and safety, inventory control and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or administration role.
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP system or similar software.
Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help solve problems.It Would Be Great If You Also Have

Experience coordinating warehouse workloads or assigning operational tasks.
Knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation or cycle counting.
Previous experience supporting labour scheduling or monitoring agency workers.
An understanding of warehouse operations, including goods in, picking, packing and dispatch
