Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator to join our busy Distribution Centre in Tipton.Job PurposeTo support the efficient operation of the supply chain through purchasing, inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse collaboration, ensuring products are available, orders are fulfilled, and operational processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Manage purchasing activities and maintain accurate stock levels to meet business and customer demands.

Monitor inventory, investigate stock discrepancies, and resolve stock and inventory-related queries.

Coordinate customer orders, shipments, and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency, minimise operational issues, and support continuous process improvement.

Manage complex container shipments containing multiple SKUs, ensuring accurate allocation and stock control.

Prepare and process import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with freight, customs, and duty requirements.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to resolve issues and minimise delays.

Collate and maintain product information for annual brochures, catalogues, and marketing materials.

Handle operational challenges, complex enquiries, and ad hoc requests, providing practical solutions.

Support the implementation and ongoing development of the company's ERP system, including process improvements and data accuracy initiatives.

Skills & Experience
Experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or distribution.

Knowledge of imports, exports, freight processes, customs duties, and shipping documentation would be advantageous.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
