Location: Rotherham – UK travel

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist engineering business who are looking to recruit a Project Engineer.

The company offer a turnkey service covering specification, design, manufacture, testing, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance.

The role

As a Project Engineer, you'll help deliver customer projects from initial specification through to handover, working with our engineering, installation and commercial teams. You will:

Support the planning, programming and delivery of projects across our product and service range

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, scopes of work and method statements

Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and customers to keep projects on time and within budget

Monitor cost, progress and quality, and report to the project manager

Manage technical queries, changes and project documentation

Support installation, commissioning and testing, including in hazardous environments

Champion health, safety and environmental compliance on every project

About you

Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, process, or similar)

Experience in a project or site engineering rol

Knowledge of hazardous area working, or of tank and pipework systems, is desirable

A methodical, problem-solving approach and good attention to detail

Confident communication skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once

Proficiency with MS Office and other relevant software such as CAD and MS Project

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
