Head Chef | Premium Italian Restaurant Group | London Organic Recruitment is working with a growing London restaurant group to find an experienced Head Chef to lead a kitchen team and play a key role in the company's continued expansion.
With multiple sites opening and further growth in the pipeline, this is an opportunity for a Head Chef who wants to take ownership of their kitchen today while building towards a wider leadership role as the business develops.
We're looking for a chef with strong European culinary foundations, ideally with Italian experience, who understands how to deliver quality food consistently in a busy, premium or premium-casual restaurant environment.
The Role Lead the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.

Oversee daily kitchen operations and deliver smooth, well-organised services during busy periods.

Set the standard for preparation, fresh ingredients and technical execution, ideally including Italian cooking and fresh pasta.

Recruit, train and develop a motivated kitchen team, building a positive and accountable culture.

Take ownership of food costs, GP, stock control, ordering, labour and waste management.

Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.

Work closely with the wider management team to improve performance and deliver a strong guest experience.

Help develop kitchen systems and standards that can be replicated across future sites.

Play an active role in new openings, with the potential to progress into a broader group leadership position as the business expands.

What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.

European culinary training or a strong professional background in European cuisine.

Italian restaurant experience preferred, with French or broader European experience also considered.

A track record in busy, premium or premium-casual London restaurants.

Strong technical cooking skills and the ability to maintain standards under pressure.

Commercial awareness, with a good understanding of food costs, GP, labour and stock management.

The ability to recruit, lead and develop a kitchen team.

A hands-on leadership style, with the confidence to lead from the front during service.

Ambition to grow beyond a single-site Head Chef role and contribute to the development of a growing restaurant group.
