Job Description

The Role

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Outreach SEND Tutor to support children and young people across March and the surrounding areas.

This is a varied role, with tuition delivered both onsite at the Alternative Provision setting and within pupils' homes, giving you the opportunity to provide genuinely personalised support in different environments.

You’ll be working with pupils who may have SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs, with lots of support available from the wider education team.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about pupil outcomes, progress and engagement
  • Enjoys building positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Has experience in teaching, tutoring, SEND, SEMH or Alternative Provision
  • Can adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs
  • Is confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Is patient, reliable and consistent
  • Has access to a car and laptop
  • Can travel to pupils' homes and the onsite provision across March and surrounding areas

What's on Offer?

  • £20–£35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm
  • Ongoing part-time opportunity
