Life Assurance Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with a leading manufacturer? We're recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing processing/manufacturing business in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that invests heavily in its people, equipment and continuous improvement programmes. You'll play a key role in maintaining production performance through planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown support and involvement in exciting engineering improvement projects. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing and processing equipment Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical breakdowns PLC fault finding and troubleshooting Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime Identifying root causes of recurring issues and implementing long-term solutions Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures The Candidate To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer role, you should have: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Technician or similar Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience working within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, processing, packaging, pharmaceutical or industrial environments PLC fault-finding experience A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement Full right to work in the UK Benefits Competitive salary of £47,000 Monday-Friday days Private healthcare scheme Flexible working arrangements Life assurance 30 days holiday allowance Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable business with long-term career prospects Interested?
