FPGA Engineer - National Security Business
We are a leading supplier in the national security domain, delivering mission‑critical solutions. This role involves working on advanced FPGA design, DSP algorithms, hardware interfacing, and system integration.
Responsibilities
Design, simulate, synthesize, and implement digital logic circuits using VHDL/Verilog.
Develop, simulate, and optimize real‑time DSP algorithms (e.g., FIR/IIR filters, FFTs, I/Q demodulation, mixers).
Create and manage high‑speed digital interfaces such as ADC, DAC, PCIe.
Collaborate with embedded software, PCB design, and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware into the final product.
Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to validate designs in the lab.
Qualifications
Proven experience in FPGA design (VHDL/Verilog) and DSP algorithm implementation.
Strong command of VHDL/Verilog and MATLAB/Simulink.
Embedded C/C++ or Python experience for testing, automation, and processor‑based interaction.
Understanding of digital communication theory and RF principles.
Eligible and willing to obtain DV clearance.
