Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Were working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrician to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.

Shift Electrician - Maintenance Electrical Engineer

Average 42 hour working week 4 days on 4 days off

12 hour Shifts, Days only

Salary £50-£55,000 per annum


ou will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects.

To be successful, we would like you to have:

  • A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
  • Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing, Industrial or Automation environment.
  • Experience in the print, packaging or related industries would be nice but is not essential.
  • Experience with maintenance programmes.
  • Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Have good communication, organisational and team work skills.
  • Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.

Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM
