Senior / Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)

London (Hybrid) | Permanent | Up to £100,000 + Equity

We’re partnering with a venture-backed HealthTech startup building a connected mobile platform for patients managing cardiometabolic conditions.

This is a high-impact role owning a React Native application that integrates wearable devices, real-time health data, and AI-driven insights into a seamless patient experience.

The Role

You’ll:

Build and scale a production React Native app across iOS & Android
Integrate with Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, and connected devices (scales, BP monitors, CGMs, activity trackers)
Work closely with ML engineers to integrate internal AI APIs
Shape mobile architecture, standards, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

5+ years building production mobile applications
Strong React Native experience (or strong native iOS/Android background)
Experience integrating REST APIs and handling real-time data
Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Ownership mindset with experience driving projects independently

Nice to have: HealthTech, wearable integrations, AI/ML API integration, regulated data environments.
