Job Summary

Regent Corner Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Morrisons Daily franchise store in Rugby. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, leading and developing the store team, maintaining stock availability, achieving sales targets and ensuring the store operates efficiently in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate store employees.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained.
• Oversee stock control, inventory management and merchandising.
• Prepare staff rotas and monitor employee performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, licensing and health and safety regulations.
• Control operational costs and prepare management reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store environment.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve business objectives.

• Experience handling customer complaints and resolving operational issues.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Retail Management, Business Management or a related discipline is desirable.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics are preferred.
• Relevant retail management or customer service qualifications are advantageous.
