Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team on our NHSSC contract at our Daventry site, you’ll play a key role in motivating and being a proactive individual to support the day-to-day operation, ensuring performance targets, service levels, and customer expectations are consistently achieved. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing colleagues, promoting a strong safety culture, and building effective relationships across the business.

This is a full-time, permanent position , working Any 5 from 7, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, flexibility required

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Management of the day-to-day operation, providing leadership and motivation for the team to ensure the site meets its daily performance target and weekly KPI’s, thereby delivering an efficient and effective service to the customer within budget

Line management of warehouse and transport Operators and Drivers: ensuring that all colleagues are fully trained and legally compliant. Managing hours, infringements, pay issues and training
