£13.95 per hour
42 hours per week
5-month fixed-term contract
Average four shifts per week
Rotating 12-hour shifts: 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, including days and nights

About the role

As a Security Officer with Sodexo at Diageo Cameronbridge, you’ll play an important part in keeping the site, colleagues, visitors and assets safe and secure.

This is a five-month fixed-term position providing paternity cover. You’ll work as part of the site security team, maintaining a professional and visible security presence while responding calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies.

You’ll need to be flexible, confident working a rotating shift pattern and comfortable following established security procedures.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor the site and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Carry out security patrols and follow site security procedures.
  • Support access control and monitor people entering and leaving the site.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate security records and report any concerns promptly.
  • Provide a professional and helpful service to colleagues, contractors and visitors.
  • Follow all health, safety and site security requirements.

What you’ll bring

  • A valid frontline SIA licence.
  • A valid First Aid certificate.
  • Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies.
  • A flexible approach to working days and nights.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills would be desirable.

Successful candidates will be required to complete vetting to BS7858 standard.

Free on-site parking and uniform are provided.
