VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Location: Slough

Basic Salary: £35,000

OTE: Up to £44,000

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic looking for a role offering an excellent work-life balance and strong earning potential?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy automotive workshop working a unique 3 days on shift pattern.

With a basic salary of £35,000, and the opportunity to earn up to £750 per month in productivity bonus, this role offers excellent earning potential alongside an attractive working pattern.

Hours: 6:00am to 7:30pm with 1-hour lunch break

The rota operates on a rolling basis:

·4 weeks: Monday to Wednesday

·Followed by 4 weeks: Thursday to Saturday

This gives you regular extended periods away from work and a fantastic work-life balance.

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work

·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

·Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard

·Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults

·Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately

·Working in line with manufacturer and safety standards

·Maintaining high levels of quality and productivity

·Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised and safe

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician with:

·Previous experience working within the automotive industry

·A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

·Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
