The Role
As the Head of Membership at our client's prestigious club, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping its future by driving member acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and personalized experiences, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative initiatives that align with the club's brand ethos and USPs. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing a comprehensive business plan to acquire and retain members, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Cultivating strategic brand partnerships to enhance the membership proposition and engage the local creative community.
Nurturing relationships with existing members through proactive outreach and personalized engagement initiatives.
Analysing the current membership base to identify retention drivers and deliver innovative member experiences.
Designing and executing an engaging calendar of member programming that fosters community and adds value to memberships.
Championing the implementation of a new CRM system (PeopleVine) and refining processes to optimize member interactions.
Establishing and maintaining community relationships, staying abreast of industry developments and competitor offerings.
Developing detailed personas to guide the acquisition process and implementing an ambassadors program to drive membership growth.
Collaborating closely with senior management and stakeholders to achieve financial targets and ensure operational excellence.
The Candidate

Proven experience in membership acquisition and retention within the hospitality or private members’ club sector.
