Electronics Assembler

Location - Hackbridge

Pay - £12.71 per hour (37.5 hours per week)

Hours - 8.30am to 5pm (one hour break deduction)

Days - Monday to Friday

Duration - temporary, ongoing

We are seeking experienced Electronics Assemblers to work for an electronics company on a temporary contract. Candidates must have mechanical knowledge and experience with various assembly techniques. The role involves assembling electronic components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Soldering experience is essential.

Duties

Assemble electronic components using hand tools and power tools, following detailed specifications.
Perform assembly tasks related to surface mount technology and ensure proper handling of delicate components.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to verify functionality.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in the testing of assembled products to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electronic assembly.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Familiarity with surface mount technology is highly desirable.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
