The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.This Agency Chef role offers an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with leadership skills to contribute to a healthcare setting, playing a pivotal role in maintaining food safety standards and delivering exceptional service to residents across Suffolk.DutiesLead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food production and service deliveryPrepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to organisational standards and client specificationsOversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with health regulationsCoordinate with clients to meet specific culinary requirementsEnsure all food preparation adheres to organisational recipes and presentation standardsMaintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high performanceQualificationsAs an Agency Chef, you will need:Proven experience in food production, cooking, or hospitality roles, preferably within restaurant or catering environmentsLevel 3 Food Safety requiredStrong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitationExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyCompetence in team management, motivating staff, and fostering a collaborative work environmentGood understanding of culinary techniques across various cuisinesPrevious experience in hospitality or restaurant sectors is highly desirableAbility to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standardsThis role offers an engaging environment for culinary professionals eager to showcase their skills while leading teams towards excellence.
