The Role
As a Security Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance testing activities across a portfolio of projects. You will work collaboratively with project/product teams to ensure that testing is integrated into the solution delivery process and that quality standards are met. You will be expected to develop and implement testing strategies, manage test resources, and provide guidance and support to project teams, whilst being hands on.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in software testing, with a particular emphasis on security testing. You should be able to work collaboratively with the development team to identify and report any vulnerabilities or defects in our security products/systems at validation, and to ensure that they are addressed in a timely and effective manner. You should also have experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and in documenting and communicating your findings to the development team. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team and will have a strong background in software testing.
A key part of the role is to ensure security products such as end point solutions, website blockers and similar products have been configured correctly and validated to be implemented to Deloitte systems.
Key Skills and Professional Experience
Essential
10 years of proven QA / testing experience working on large and complex IT projects at managerial level and above and working to aggressive & tight time deadlines.
On validating security agents, firm protective products.
Complex security testing programmes
Project and test management skills including budgeting, effort and cost estimation.
Skills in using popular test management tools such as Azure DevOps and of testing tools and SDLC methodologies, to deliver high quality outcomes.
To manage multiple testing projects across different countries and regions and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
Communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to different cultural and business context.
Analytical skills, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues and mentoring skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing testing team to adopt a prioritized, risk-based testing approach to projects delivery.
Implementing automation to accelerate test cycles and increase quality.
Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivering reports and outcomes to C-suite executives
Implementing non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing, helping to ensure that software systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Creating complex test strategies.
