Job Description

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Trunking Only - no handballing required
Location:Manchester
Pay Rate: £17.98 - £20.17 p/h (Holiday pay rolled up for the higher rate)
Bonus Payment: £150 for signing up and working 12 weeks
Shifts:Monday to Friday - 07:30 start times
Licence: Class 1 licence - essential
Experience: Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience required

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for a reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Driverto join our clients team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.This is a permanent position with a well known transport company based in Manchester.

What You'll Do:
  • Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries or collections
  • Follow all driving laws and company procedures
  • Represent the company professionally at client sites
What You Need:
  1. A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  2. A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and avalid Digital Tachograph card
  3. Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
  4. A professional attitude and good communication skills
You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
