DevOps Engineer

Our client is an innovative healthcare technology company whose SaaS platform supports healthcare professionals across the UK. They're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale, maintain, and enhance a highly available cloud-based environment, ensuring critical services remain secure, resilient, and performant.

What You'll Be Doing Build, improve, and maintain automated deployment, configuration, and upgrade processes across infrastructure and applications.

Help ensure platform security, scalability, and high availability, supporting a zero-downtime approach wherever possible.

Monitor and manage Kubernetes environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

Support infrastructure and application upgrades through planning, testing, and deployment activities.

Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

Work closely with development and engineering teams to optimise platform performance and reliability.

Champion DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the technology estate.

What They're Looking For Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting.

Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.

Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and Ansible.

Experience designing, maintaining, and testing backup and disaster recovery processes.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies, and automation practices.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

Knowledge of ArgoCD would be advantageous.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
