Programme Manager Contract - Paying up to £700 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in South Wales, Hybrid Working, To Start ASAP

Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a significant technology and business transformation programme.

The successful candidate will be a strong, hands-on Programme Manager who can take ownership of complex delivery, coordinate multiple workstreams and suppliers, and manage stakeholders across technology and the wider business.

Key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation programme

Manage multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring they remain aligned to overall programme objectives

Own programme plans, governance, RAID management, dependencies, budgets and reporting

Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers and stakeholders

Provide clear programme level reporting and visibility of progress, risks and decisions

Drive delivery across both technical and business change workstreams

Ensure dependencies between technology, data, processes and operational teams are effectively managed

Establish strong governance while maintaining a pragmatic, delivery focused approach

What you'll need to succeed

Strong track record as a Programme Manager delivering large, complex transformation programmes

Excellent stakeholder management

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams and suppliers

Strong programme governance, planning, risk and dependency management experience

Comfortable operating across both technology and business facing environments

Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure or another asset-intensive environment would be highly beneficial

GIS / geospatial transformation experience is highly desirable

Experience delivering programmes involving platforms such as Esri ArcGIS would be advantageous

Strong commercial awareness and experience managing third party delivery partners
