Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Hours: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday
About the Company:
Our client is a long-established UK engineering and manufacturing business specialising in the design and production of highly engineered products for safety-critical applications across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Production Programmer to join their Production Engineering team.
The Role:

Working closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams, you will convert customer and design data into manufacturing-ready information, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Create CAD/CAM programs for laser-cut and pressed components.
Convert 3D STP files into DXF files for manufacturing purposes.
Generate and remotely programme press brake and laser cutting machines.
Upload and maintain accurate production data within the MRP system.
Issue manufacturing files in line with project schedules and production requirements.
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers regarding component queries.
Support design-for-manufacture activities to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
Identify tooling, jigs, fixtures and equipment requirements to improve safety, quality and productivity.
Contribute to continuous improvement, process optimisation and manufacturing sustainability initiatives.
