Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

About the Role

Our client is a specialist electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical installations and project solutions across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors throughout London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects from commencement through to completion.

This role involves managing budgets, programmes, subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver electrical projects across multiple sites.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and programme performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Attend site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Manage procurement and oversee material deliveries.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve site issues.
  • Prepare project reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Construction or M&E sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations and industry regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent) preferred.
