A CNC Operator opportunity has arisen with an ambitious and growing engineering business in Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, permanent position working with advanced machining technology on high-specification components for some of the most demanding sectors in manufacturing. The Role

The CNC Operator will take ownership of setting, programming, and operating CNC lathes equipped with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision components to exceptionally tight tolerances. Day-to-day, you will be trusted to work using your own judgement within a modern, well-equipped machining environment.

The role is based from their site near Cambridge.

What experience does the CNC Operator need?

Solid, demonstrable background operating and setting CNC lathes, with hands-on experience using Fanuc control systems

The ability to work independently and maintain high standards of precision and quality without close supervision

A strong grasp of precision engineering principles and the quality requirements associated with regulated industries

Experience with twin spindle lathes, Y-axis or driven tooling, or CAD/CAM programming would be an advantage, though full training is available
